Welcome to TRADES4YOU LTD! By using our website (www.trades4you.co.uk) and services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please stop using the website and services.

1. About Us

TRADES4YOU LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a UK-registered company providing a platform to connect customers with independent tradespeople for home or business work.

2. Using Our Services

By using our website, you agree to:

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Comply with all applicable laws and these Terms.
  
  We reserve the right to change or discontinue any services at any time.
  
  

3. Independent Tradespeople

Tradespeople (“Tradesman”) listed on our platform are independent contractors, not employees of TRADES4YOU.

• We do not endorse or guarantee the quality of their work.
• Any agreements or disputes are solely between you and the Tradesman.
  
  

4. Finder’s Deposit

• We reserve the right to charge a £15 deposit, refundable if you accept a quote from a Tradesman.
• If three quotes are provided and none are accepted, or if you change your mind, the deposit is non-refundable to cover our time and effort.
  
  

5. Tradesman Contact

Once the deposit is received, we will match you with Tradesmen who aim to contact you within 24 hours.

• If a Tradesman purchases the contract but does not reach out within 24 hours, they forfeit the lead fee unless they provide evidence of an unsuccessful contact attempt.
  
  

6. Job Acceptance

We may decline job requests based on location or availability. While we do our best to match you with a suitable Tradesman, this cannot be                     guaranteed.

7. Payments and Quality

• Payments are managed directly between you and the Tradesman. We are not responsible for payment disputes.
• We recommend reviewing a Tradesman’s credentials and references before agreeing to any work.
  
  

8. Your Responsibility

By accepting a quote, you enter a direct contract with the Tradesman. TRADES4YOU is not part of this contract and is not liable for any disputes.

9. Permitted Use of the Website

     You agree not to:

• Misuse the website or attempt to access it in unauthorised ways.
• Use the website for commercial purposes beyond its intended use.
• Copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without our permission.
  
  

10. Account Security

If you create an account, keep your login details secure. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access. We are not responsible for losses caused by unauthorised account use.

11. Intellectual Property

All website content is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or use it without prior written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for:

• Losses caused by third-party services.
• Errors, delays, or interruptions in our website or services.
• Any issues related to Tradesmen or their work.

Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

13. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

If you have a dispute with us, please try to resolve it informally first. If it cannot be resolved, the laws of England and Wales will govern it.
